Alex76FR if you donate you get the option for 2 colours
The [nosrl] thingtag should also work on the streams page. other stuff gotta ask someone that has the power over the code.
The best thing imho is that you tell us beforehand, i like my senpai for being so open about it :3
ALL HAIL PAC-SENPAI
(also when can we buy a Pac shirt? Kappa )
I was offsite mod (last minute kinda thing) so gonna give feedback on that.
Thing i liked was the program slack, its a nice place for mods to get together to talk about stuff and help communicate between tech and hosts and such even for offsite mods. For next event i would recommend to add all the mods to it and maybe add 2 channels to seperate purple and yellow for tech stuff and keep the main channel in which was talked most this event afaik. Also a list of staff (who to talk too for which) would be handy on slack in case you need something. Problem was that only purplehost and techstation was on there (still not sure if techstation was for both streams or just purple) and not yellowhost/tech which sometimes would have helped.
Sometimes having some info beforehanded like schedule changes would also be handy to share in slack so we can anticipate for that with chat.
For the (moo)bot part, moobot was doing a good job at t/o and banning links. maybe making beforehand a list that every mod/tech/staff can agree on off banned words and such would be handy. Also mods got blamed many times for t/o that moobot did, maybe a line next time that says that moobot handles most of the t/o's ESApasta (thanks cbenni for making it during the first few days, was fun) was made to help with the spamming done by mods for which would contain game/runner/leaderboard was on at the moment, would love to see this return (but cbenni knows it needs some fixes, but it worked nicely imho for a bot done fast).
The schedule with the links to game and runners was also nice, to bad some games werent autodetected, told pac about this allready. but the layout and page worked fine on my end so thats something i would also like to see return but maybe with the option for some tech/staff can add links to (non)speedrun.com leaderboards.
On the site part under about there is: shirtless gaming? maybe remove because of twitch TOS thing.
also sad shoutouts to the mods work wasnt on the cheat sheet MiniK
Feedback on something that happend during the big delay for jodens run (but should apply imho to the whole event and no im not against woman when your going to read the next thing) Dont let 2 girls host at the same time, Chat will die and also http://gyazo.com/091992d285cf4475a686a0b00848922d FailFish , hosting in between runs should be used to promote the stuff also not just ama, i know it was a long one but not a single word was said about Doctors without borders. im not against a female host, but i think they need to contain chat and not give into it.
Also during Dragon's crown (example i could remember) sometimes chat was RIP cause there were some provocations from the couch. things like that should also try to be avoided imho cause it will the work for mods harder with no real reason.
timer program is something like wsplit, seperate program you capture with OBS, download it (there are a few options on he resource page http://www.speedrun.com/resources ).
if you add your twitch to the profile, you will show up on the stream page (unless there are bugs again).
rules is a hard question, someone else can help.
when you recorded your run, you make a highlight of it (or export to youtube, or local record and upload to some site that you have a link). if the game exists on the site you can submit the run at the game page at the right top. if the game is not on the site (and has no other leaderboards community, if there is talk to them first and get them to move maybe if they want) you can request the game at the games page, again right top which will take you to http://www.speedrun.com/requestgame where you can request it.
I think you dont get what kirkq was going at, if you look at when the mods last were online for example carci he was last online 7 hours ago (i wouldnt call that inactive). your run might only be half an hour long (i guess) does not mean they have all the time in the world to check all the things they are moderator of in the time they are online. You might think they are inactive but most of the time "Time" is the problem, your run might not be the only thing they have to take care of. you can never expect that if you submitted your run 30mins ago and the run is 1 hour long that you still have to wait 30 mins for it to show up on the leaderboard cause the moderator looked at it instantly.
You might wanna ask this in the subforum for the southpark game (http://www.speedrun.com/sp_sot/forum)
your name will change so lennonplays will stop to exist on this site with all data carried over to len automaticly.
in case you didnt know you can request the (next) game you want in the serie from the serie page and then it should be added to the serie as default. (insert winkyface)
Sorry i cant really see the picture clearly, my eyes can only see anarchy. Kappa
gyoo: Old news, reported allready, gotta deal with it till forum rework afaik
Its for the API. No issues just normal for coding
kabuki added something for casuals
No this is something for the API no bugs (i hope)
ow sorry if it came over that i mean to use the forums for mod request. i mean the forums for the category asking and PM (on twitch or so) for the mod request. i was kinda sleepy while typing :p
^ imho then it should be after the run is verified when it comes in the running for frontpage, cause the option the submit runs that happen "in the future" shouldnt convert allready also because of leaderboards should just take the time it was done.
Before asking for mod you can also ask in the forums ( http://www.speedrun.com/double_dragon/forum ) or the game specific one if they can add the category instead of just, "Hey, i miss this, add me as mod please" (no offence with that).
i will copy paste this again from the first post: "Please keep in mind that using this thread is somewhat a last resort, in case the current moderators are not responding or refusing your help without justification. You should always start by asking the Super mods of a game/series as they are also able to add mods. Twitch messages to mods are probably best for now."
but in this case if you wanna try contacting the super mods they are (dont know which game exactly) dugongue ( http://www.speedrun.com/user/Dugongue ) or/and remz ( http://www.speedrun.com/user/Remz ) becaus when you look at http://www.speedrun.com/double_dragon they both have a red sword so they both can add mods. thats how you can find who to contact.
louiskanak did you try contacting the super mods? (someone else also used this thread to get Mod for that game/serie)
One of the next big updates which will be released is the notification update (with following stuff), the release date is: "When its done" (qoute from higherup) thats all i know
You gotta ask Pac for that, not sure if would be really usefull cause most of the speedrunners allready have a group(s) and just use this site as a place for their leaderboard
