Pls let us choose the language. I always did everything in context of speedrunning in english and now you are forcing me to read half the page in german and half the page in english. it is so confusing because the translation is not that good and totally unnecessary because many words are explicitly used in speedrunning context and dont have a german expression anyway ...

no notifications since 2 days and at least one run would have shown up i checked. I dont know about socials i do not write or receive messages an i am no mod for anything too.
should be clarified in the rules ... You can do it if you follow the instructions and the run will be set to invisble by default cause of the reasons spelt out in the rules. You can turn emulators visbility on at the leaderboard.
The Spirit of Speedrunning is also to enable competition between people. One of the biggest engines for speedrunning was communication and sharing of demos so Players can learn from each other. There are many games with low competition but existing leaderboards and even empty categories. But speedrunning can also be about Routing and improving Routes and not only grinding and competition. In fact nobody is hurt if categories get an actual split by hardware especially if a game is pretty active overall. And in fact visibility in a leaderboard is something any speedrunner apreciates especially in the beginning. And hiding Hardware in sub options without a good reason (unlike in pokemon where emulators are concidered inaccurate) is a disadvantage for people outside the main hardware who are recommending visibility for themselves. And this should not be limited for people on the main hardware who are best (and often mods) in the game/category.
But i'm not running anything in GTA just my opinion about this repeating discussion in different communities.
I made a few runs and was finally able to not fuck anything up with my recording. Below is the link to that video showing the run.
I would recommend to start the same as in the Any% category and end the run after defeating Yugi in the Beginners Cup. I ended the timer after the blue screen showing kc points and experience faded out. Edit: Maybe just set the ending similar to the Any% Rules when the screen shows up.
I am open for feedback it is still my first game and recording ever so im sure i can improve much more.
I think a new category hurts no one and is a good way to increase the likelihood of more people getting into this game.
If sometime more people get interessted it could be a point to invent categories for Beginners Cup % and Expert Cup %. 100% is'nt a thing right now without a consistent manip for packs.
