Hi all,

My name is Travvee and I have been and huge (quiet) supporter of this community for a few years now. I've been watching speed runs for a little while now but, now I think it's time I actually get involved!

I always wanted to start to speed run games but for some reason I just never took the leap to just grab an old copy of a game and just break it (lol).

Until I discovered My Friend Pedro a few months ago, where once I beat the game (and even before I got to the second world) we realized the potential this game has for really fun and strategic game play to beat the in game timer. We spent about two weeks every night just on the first level working our starting time of over 1m20s to I believe somewhere under 40s (don't quote me on that, ill have to check again :P)

So after a few weeks of our own little competition, I decided to look around and see how good/If any other players may have been and honestly to my complete shock I saw a couple runs. Although the thing about those runs was they would most likely be categorized as any%, just due to the fact they seemed to just focus on the time were me and my friend had been going for that perfect 100% kills and that sweet sweeeet S class rank.

My goal with this thread is to see if can get a few like minded people who have also seen the potential in this game and just see how far we can push it.

I am an Aussie so its maybe a little far-fetched for me but I wanna see this game at something like AGDQ where I'm sure people who haven't even heard of the game will absolutely love.
