lol thanks guys for helping me. When I downgraded to 1.5.3 the render distance decreased to 6.

I think i am just going to use a different computer. I have a different one that is not as powerful and its lowest is 8 chunks. Do think that will still allow dragon skip?

Is it possible for me to bypass this render distance lock

The simulation distance is at 4 chunks. That’s the lowest it can go.

I think the problem is that my render distance is too high. On all of the other speedruns it seems to be at 4 chunks. But the lowest I can put mine is at 16 chunks. Is there a way to decrease it to 4 chunks?

The only way I could get it to work was to build a bridge like 200 blocks away from the island, then the bar would disappear.

I run away but the bar does not disappear.

I have set my render distance, simulation distance and particle distance to as low as they can go but I can’t get dragon skip to work. Can someone help me? I am on version 1.5.3.
