Went through on a fresh save file and looks like it's not happening this time. We'd restarted a couple times the day that happened and it kept happening. Hopefully that one time is the last time

Dunno if anyone has encountered this before. Tried playing co-op on Chris's story and the game brought up the start menu as soon as I had gained control of the character, and would repeatedly bring the menu back up as soon as I would hit resume. Didn't have anything different running or plugged in since my last time playing the game. Anyone seen this before and/or have any idea what to do?

"You cannot have any of the weapons obtained later within the chapters or items. If you do, the run will be moved to NG+."

Does this apply to the weapons and such you can pick up throughout the run, or does this just mean you can't start with anything extra?
