Yes but the PS5 is a brand new console that utilizes one of the fastest SSD's with nearly triple the power of the Original PS4 Model, it's going to have the same effect that a PC would have over the Original Console release.
Just for reference
this is loading times within normal matches that are separated by nearly 12 seconds, these would be even slower in more heavier resource settings like adventure mode.
I know it's not ideal in regards to highlighting every difference a platform might have in performance but i think it's worth having a discussion about.
Even if it means Separating the 8th Generation of Consoles like the one,4 and Switch or having a separate board that doesn't count loading times into the run as means to equalize all platforms.
If you still don't think it's worth it then that's fine, like I said even if it doesn't amount too much it's always worth having these discussions
On of my recent speed runs of adventure mode both on PC and on the Base PS4 I've noticed a difference between loading times when entering a battle that would ultimately make the comparison between the two for the leaderboard arbitrary, as some battles can take up to 4-5 seconds to load while on a decent PC it would be 1 to 2 seconds and a PC with SSD could Mitigate this problem entirely meaning, theoretically it doesn't matter if the two players were able to match each other's speed within the context of the speed run, the person on the faster platform is going to save anywhere between 30 to 50 seconds.
