CanadaIm sorry about any confusion im just very new to all of this
I may be doing this all wrong, but trying to launch VC using that program results in a crash at an address 006f330. I have tried replicating other folks settings, I have tried checking specific settings that other users reported to have helped. Would anyone have settings or information. If I just add VC like that to the program and launch without changing any setting it will still say cant find 640x480 resolution, in compatibility settings, checking the box for that exact resolution results in no function and my resolution being changed.
So im not supposed to fix my crosshair aiming up and to the right?
I put the d3d8.dll and scripts folder into my directory but now the exe wont launch the game. If I remove just the scripts folder, game starts again. Would anyone know what im doing wrong?
I installed vice city, I then applied the silent patch and used the no cd exe. When I go to convert the game to jp, theres 90 files that dont get verified, alot xdelta... file not found. When the conversion is done turning the game on force changes the resolution and the game doesnt appear. Could I just use the version I have for runs, cause ive tried this 3 seperate times each time re-installing and re-applying the patches. Should I do the conversion before or after I apply silent patch and replace exe?

How am I meant to use Speedrun Edition for Resident Evil 2 AND cutscene skip? (if im to submit a run of compliance by using the speedrun edition how can I also do the cutscene skip version for that category) Theyre two seperate exe's - is it a question of cutscene skip runs being done on a different version? My autosplitter is tied to supreme skips(which I got from the resources tab).
Thanks to anyone who can give me some info, I do see folks running speedrun edition and have supreme skips enabled, just not sure how it works.
I do infact want to install it, but the one from the classic REbirth site is broken, and when I tried to extract the files in resources to my BIOHAZARD folder, nothing worked and essentially caused me to reinstall everything. I need to know what im doing wrong and is that version of re2 the only version I can use? (also im using door/cutscene skip) I install re2 sourcenext, then I add the rebirth patch, then I add the official sourcenext patch, then I add the door and cutscene skips, then now I add all the files from the resources of speedrun edition and now none of the exe's work - nothing pops up
In the rules it states: Sourcenext & Sourcenext with Classic REbirth SPEEDRUN EDITION - Is this to mean that Sourcenext is Allowed AND Sourcenext Speedrun Edition?
