Welp, I just had a legit time and it got denied. All I did after that is post a picture of the IGT with my phone, and does THAT sound like proof to ya?
Well, I've seen only Super Mario RPG, SM64, Luigi's Mansion, and now Undertale. but yeah, you're right about ¤most¤ video games having Japanese text that is considered faster. ..I should really not call it "SM64-itis" anymore, nor mention it.
So from now on, the JPN release is the version runners will use for Genocide/Glitchless categories? Welp, it's got a case of SM64-itis now.
(NOTE: I am not a runner of this game, I just observe this page casually.) So, It appears that yesterday, A new runner (maybe) emerged and beaten TGH's Record by about two minutes. and what I see is that he used a Japan Translation of the game. ..I got a question: "Is this allowed?"
Another thing I thought about was "The Batora Effect from SM64", like an Unknown Japanese player battled against USA's runners. but this is unrelated to the topic.

Thank my brain for not playing this game for quite some time until now. I have gotten Medals since my first playthrough, and it was a time consumer. Since I know some tricks and skips with this; I can get Every Medal in less than 3 hours.
For many reasons why: I've got some careers that has given my attention; like Voice Acting, Animation, and Short Film Directing. I still try to run this, and attempt to get an Any% WR. If I ever get a capture card, I will begin a tutorial video for to those who have the game and want to run it. But hey, I'm still lurking and roaming.

Looks like I got a sub 1:59 In real time right now! I'm still happy that I beat my PB.
Okay, well.. I don't have Elgato, But.. I could record outside of the TV with a Camera attached to a tripod, And I don't have a computer next to a TV, So I can't do Splits, so I had to use a Phone for a timer, which sucks. But, I could still do a run for it.
Huh, well.. I was 13 when I continued speedrunning this, so I took a near 2:01:00 IRT almost every time, 1:54:00 for IGT. So, I didn't know about skips like this, so if you could get a gamecorder like an elgato game capture, I'll be appreciated to see how this trap skip worked! You know what? I think we could be great friends! ;)
