sorry, i fixed this a while ago and yes turn off cc does work

When you pick up the portal gun upgrade (dual portal) the game freezed and crashes, this has happend to me about 10 times in a row. running on windows 11 EDIT I fixed this and like Tactix says, turn off captions/subtitles.
