CanadaThemorgue u are probably talking about this run (https://www.speedrun.com/run/z139wjrm) the main reason he is faster is cuz he downgraded to version 1.0 of Burnout Paradise that has faster cars for pretty much all of them in that version which anyone on console can also do but not PC. Its one of the main reasons to why the leaderboards for IL's are split between console and pc. No problem bud glad i could be of assistance. About the thing about ur internet connection not being so good when it comes to uploading you should try getting HandBrake its a free video file size reducer that pretty cuts ur video file size in half and its done completely offline no internet needed at all. Only thing that may be a bit hard about using this program is it may take a long time when it comes to reducing the file sizes if you what it in high quality or getting use to it if new to it but tbh this video pretty much goes over everything

By the looks of ur profile being new u probably have seen videos of splits an gameplay on one screen and want ur setup to look that well u technically can't on one monitor unless its windowed but this doesn't mean u can't run the game fullscreen with splits u probably need to turn on global hotkeys on Livesplit settings somewhere that makes it so u can split as ur game when open on top of Livesplit (U probably can't see ur splits or time & make sure the key u bindin are different keys used from in game ) this is what I do sometimes and probably what others do that don't have more than one monitor. U can also use OBS to setup ur splits and gameplay as u record/stream it all on one screen so u get the out come ur going for.
Since ur new the timer may seem like a big deal u don't need it all that much when u first start out It just later on when it comes to optimizing faster runs its needed more to help know when ur in red but yea u could just add it in after like u mentioned or use ur phone to time is another good option

I got a idea for the miscellaneous categories something short easy to run and be fun. Pretty much it would be breaking up the triangles in each season into a miscellaneous category runs. I know that would be lots of miscellaneous categories that would be added but bare with me For example "Brembo Blast%" would be running throw it as fast as possible from the first event to the last in category. Also could have a subcategory in it for example that does "Brembo Blast 100%" getting Gold on event/showcases in the category and making you do every race in the category which u would just skip over to the next unlock in the % run. I think others people would like doing these's runs since it would be something short to do for fun compared to others runs that take way longer.
Thanks for adding individual seasons also got a question about the skip that i talked about an how are is it going to be handled with runs.
Since i'm assuming am the only one thats running on Mac at the moment I tried this skip an it didn't work. The main concern I'm having is that this skip allows you skip all the instructions/cutscenes/narration/scene tutorial and this can only be done on PC. This give a big advantage to runners on PC compared to mac and console runners since throughout the whole game there are lots of moments where the game comes across these's things.
I'm suggesting that sometime in the future whens theres more runners or sometime whenever that leaderboards be split into subcategories Without cutscene skip/With cutscene skip.
Edit: I noticed u fixed this problem for any% and 100% category but how is this going to be handled with the other categories?
There needs to be split categories for everything because there is a skip only on pc that allows you to skip all the instructions/cutscenes. The skip is using alt+ tab or alt+enter making it skip the whole promo instruction. I tried this on mac an it didn't work.
Considering it would make it unfair since it is a huge time save using this skip vs other platform runners every category needs subcategories called Without Cutscene Skip/With Cutscene Skip.
Would also like to suggest season 1, season 2, season 3, season 4 as something that could be run.
