@Reality RTS is great. Routing is the bigget puzzle in those. Mostly run Hearts of Iron i would say we are the most active RTS community.

i am more talking theoretically about forum signaturs, if they are used they are great. but honestly to 95% waste of space.

A bio segment on the right side of the profile on top of the news/spotlights. just replace the pronoun option with a self written section again like it was before and call it "custom title" or something.

(but a forum signature would also be great)

@p-p-j you dont look at the forums for new moderators but in people which run the game. also for the series, i am honestly not sure if moderation for it is neccesary. also it seems like the games already have other normal moderators just up them to supermod.

ok i tested it and rejected runs are listed on users pending actions. so you should ask them to provide the link to the rejected run.

honestly the problem also is that the site honestly isnt made for extremly big games or for moderating a ton of games.

i really like to run games where i have mostly route myself. its honestly the most satisfying part of speedrunning.

(also no webgames the bar is just to low)

@Komrade they dont, back then there was much work put into sprites etc. low resolution doesnt mean bad graphics.

graphics are important. they are the first impression of a game and you cant really change it. calling the mods out for it is just wrong.

Honestly i dont really think the "to much for the site to handle" is now a problem with the new ownership. I see the problem with "to many dead and irrelevant games".

And to rejections there need to be some hard criteria when series and games should be accepted. Currently this is a basically not understood process. we know some nogoes but thats it.

if there is drama its on the discords. it does rarely spread out of them to here.

@Merl_ When is a speedrun discord a discord for the games and when is it a discord around a streamer/person? when you personally stop speedrunning etc. there is in the end a jumbled mess of communities needlessly connected which all will basically start from zero (on discord). If people want to make "bigger" discords from smaller games they should first look at series then genre, frenchise or developer not at the persons playing it.

@hahhah42 dont think thats the case, but he could be so incompetent that he first put the video on unlisted and then set it to public. This overrides on youtube the date displayed. (the upload date still can be accessed via Video analytics)

YGO WC 2008 has pretty much one of the best categories in Yugioh. "All Stone Seal Challenges" makes you build a multiple decks with a goal and it has to be able to win. If you enjoy normal (slowish) YuGiOh and actual deck building this run is perfect. sadly its burried under marathon runs / RNG/Grind fests which most yugioh runs are. In resources is a prepared .sav file which you can put into your Desmume.

honestly if the games are "belonging" together. its fine. but making a discord by the category: small games i moderate. makes the discord dead. saw one of those already btw makes the whole game unappealing because its basically against one of the core rules of the site that a moderator doesnt "own" their leaderboards.
