I’m gonna use my run as an example. Would you rather sit through a 1hr 22 minute run, or a 20 minute run. It’s just common sense, and unless you get a good time it doesn’t really matter when it’s verified sense you know that it’s real. Speedrun.com is literally just to keep track of everyone’s times. And also, mods prioritize wr’s because they don’t want people to know about the world record 3 weeks before it’s verified. Mods are volunteering, they chose to do this. So if you have a problem with it then become a mod yourself

I’m pretty sure I heard this somewhere but do ruined portals have something to do with fortress generation, like no fortresses can be near them
