Thank you for the response, but what location are you referring to put the Autosplitter.json file into? I initially had it in the www/js folder, then to the data folder, then to the overall IB folder. The data and js folders seem to function better than the overall, though none have been receptive enough to split properly unfortunately.

I'm new to speedrunning RPG Maker games, and decided to start with the rerelease of the classic one that got me into genre and engine. I was wondering if anybody could help with this issue I faced with the auto-splitter.
I'm going to be practicing much more, and I have no plans on submitting the linked run. That said, the issue I need help with is evident in the first few minutes: The auto-splitter starts properly, but doesn't split, and consequently keeps running without splitting once by the ending. What might be a fix to this?
Alternatively, if the solution would be specific splits that I'm not using (I'm not very knowledgeable on the LiveSplit program, just asking), will there be an update to resources to include those splits?
I agree with Davdus. The game has plenty of stuff to work with from the weapons to the implants. In addition to what others may recommend, I'll put the Antman Mode out there. Looks fun:

I'm not sure whether or not the Steam version is faster or slower, but I was wondering about it since I haven't seen it talked about.
Though the version differences aren't all that large, they seem significant enough to ask; would the Steam version be accepted here? Or is there going to be another category or leaderboard for it?
