i doubt it's possible in other areas since the only way of getting up there is by birkin grabbing you in his mouth.
Myself and darazanjoll spent like a week trying to find exploits in other areas with no luck. :(
yeah i've had this happen before. it's quite common and it can happen on either platform.
Only happens if you go near the platform, as far as i'm aware this happens in all versions of the game.
what i mean by 'old skool' is like a knife run of resi 1, 2 ,3. i think this is the only new gen resident evil game that has been done like this. I done this without scanning enemies for herbs, using grenades or using melee attacks(kicks/punches) it's a serious challenge and i couldn't find a completed run anywhere on the internet other than mine. A Japanese guy started a knife run but it seems he gave up. There are 2 places you cannot use the knife and these are in ep10 while carrying parker you must shoot a gas tank to progress further. Other than that you need to use rocket launchers at the episode 11 fight, as you cannot reach the tentacles with a knife.
I hope someone else will take up the challenge (probably not) but either way i had alot of fun routing this and finding random ways to kill enemies with the knife
sup regular we do not accept pictures as a form of proof, sorry. as for recording with a webcam if you can make it perfectly clear to hear the game audio and no light glare on the screen so we can see the full run i don't have a problem with it. (I'm supermod for revelations)
BUT i would wait to hear from a series mod. I know runs in the past that were not allowed to be recorded with a webcam so there's a high chance it won't be allowed :(
do you not have access to any other versions?
@BenSimWise did you try the new Exe in the resource section of resident evil 2?
Reinstall the game then switch Exe's if not. but make sure when you replace Exe's that the new one is called "bio2"
my GPU is AMD currently and so were my past 2 GPU'S > no issues for me at least

Edit; i also had the same issue as you furry on my old dual core. i couldn't stream the game and have the SRT open due to lag spikes but it was fine with the SRT closed.
i guess doorskipping would seem like lag for the doors that aren't instant skip and it explains where lost time is going, same thing with re2. i see a lot of re3 & 2 streams where people instant skip every door and wonder why sometimes it fades to black and other times it doesn't. i know i had no clue when i started out running, and i'm sure i sometimes skip wrongly even now.

Edit; there was one time i had lag and i fixed it by switching compatibility mode from Xp Service pack 3 to service pack 2.
Kirkq messaged me yesterday and he said they are looking at ways to add more than 1 full game leaderboard to a single game. so that'll be nice when it rolls out in an update soon
360 controller is a bitch to get working, even when you do manage to get it working it's not really worth bothering with.
i would recommend a ps3 controller but some pc's Blue screen from the drivers you need to get it working. if you do manage to get the drivers working though it's simple as hell to setup in xpadder seems like only few people get the bluescreen problem
If all else fails keyboard is a good option, the current world records for any% are done using keyboard.
The variable is Non-EX and EX that was bad wording by me. A variable isn't a separate category just a drop down box to filter out runs you don't want to see. No more categories will be added for the Level board.

I have added a variable to choose between inf ammo and non inf ammo runs to the full game runs leaderboard.
Inf ammo runs will still be 1st place by Default, i don't want to devalue any runs submitted prior to the change. Also in no way am i doing this to claim more "World records" for myself. I've done this because we had a run submitted for Claire% without inf ammo, it was a good run and was unfair to be categorized with rocket spam runs.
Moving Forward..Do we add a variable inside the level leaderboard for non inf ammo runs?(current rocket and future rocket runs will still show on the level page as 1st place assuming they will always be fastest) but when entering the board to see times other than first place the option would be there to choose between inf/non inf.

so i downloaded the Exe from the resource section, the game works fine now. But i can't get any ECG'S to work any ideas? neither 1.0 or 1.1 timers work.
deleted all the useless threads from Rev2 and merged all the skips into 1 thread. wish we could just delete a thread instead of having to delete all posts inside of it :(
Also Seph the thread you made in rev2 called "It s running SKIP :D Enjoy" do you mind if i delete it ? it's kinda outdated now

if the run is done on twitch with no breaks in video, i honestly see no problems with it. all that's missing is a cutscene and 1 button press. nothing to really "cheat".
As for Ep4 a big chunk will be lost including boss fights so that will have to be a no
