so let me get this straight...SRT is being compared to a Chinese version of a game? what the hell. how does that work? Anyway if SRT is "cheating" so are auto splits in livesplit since it also uses values from the game which we shouldn't be able to "see" also SRT's have been around longer than most if not all of the current active runners on re3 even if we didn't have an SRT it isn't hard to count the damage n shit in your head. i do this regardless of using it.

As for the china version..where can you buy it now? where was it originally sold? who was it made by? when was it released? so many questions to ask that nobody has answers to and that is a huge red flag. if this version was infact officially released why is all of this information so lacking ? doesn't that bother anyone that is voting YES? it's basically saying "fuck you" to anyone that doesn't pirate games and want the legit version. It's out right embarrassing that a Japanese guy asked where to get the game and was told that nobody knows since japan has very strict copy right laws that they abide by.

Anyway, it seems a few current china version runners (which tbh barely any exist anyway) don't care if it gets removed including the WR holder.

We only have the mediakite version because a member of the community purchased a physical copy and it wasn't until then that people were running it. same goes for re2 sourcenext. why should re3 china be any different?

Also quite alot of people didn't want a full game board for re3 but their opinions were disregarded and it happened anyway 4Head

Sub categories in the full game would be the best solution to all problems

@zenix The main reason for putting them together is because neither category is popular and although they are grouped together they are still separate categories if use the filter option. which is pretty much no different to how it is now but instead of filtering out every single run ever submitted you just need to filter 1 version i do see your point though zenix

Hi, you need video proof to get a run on the leaderboards. You can use the ps4 streaming app for Twitch to live stream your runs then submit here.

i did a quick scan on remaster and found a few

So with the new TwitchFix chrome extension i decided to go through each game in the series and check for broken links. In this game across all categories/versions there are 23 Broken Links thanks to Twitch messing up all highlights.

I made a list of all broken runs and found the working link and put them into a paste bin. Some runs don't exist anymore because the twitch channel has been deleted/banned so i made a note of this in the pastebin.

i would happily fix all of the links if given mod for an hour, if not it's just a simple copy & paste job now i've found all of the links for you guys.

I tried this out with re1 classic and there is 11 dead links between 2 categories alone, some WR's even have dead links, i'm sure this is the case with a lot of games

this is a problem we have not just with dead aim but with most RE games. some mods have been inactive for months and only come on here to verify their own run. We even have mods that have done fuck all since we migrated here, time to sort this.

we have a raid mode leader board http://www.speedrun.com/revraid rocket launcher is not banned because it saves time in co-op and the run is timed via in game time (result screen)

are you using 1.0 version of the game? (base version when you install it) or the 1.1 patch

if you go to start menu and type in " User account control" you should see this make sure the bar is set to the bottom and hopefully the SRT will work, then assuming you have 1.0 that is

try to run Live split as administrator and also make sure SRT is in the same compatibility mode as the game. also run SRT as admin

If the rule isn't major it shouldn't matter too much if the runs stay on the board, you could just add a section to the rules stating "as of this date (insert date here) all runs must follow these new rules. Any Previous submitted runs are immune to this change" as long as the run is beatable with the rule change, i don't see an issue with the runs staying.

If the rules are finalized i may considering running this game outside of Desperate Escape finally

If this mod didn't save time then maybe it would be considered as a category, but in it's current state..all it's doing is gaining time from nowhere. it isn't much time save and it would still be hard to achieve anything close to the current WR'S while using it. Also it's just opening the doors to an unnecessary category or "free wr" If it is possible to tweak the cut scene skip mod to gain no time that'd be nice.

Personally never noticed a difference by doing this, but if this is true we need to nip this in the bud and not allow pausing during a run.

Delete everything from C:\ and try this method but grab the Exe from the description. i notice you have a folder for bio2patch1.1.0 that patch causes more problems with incompatibility Follow this tutorial > grab the exe "Directx Fixed EXE" from description and replace it. if it doesn't work get back to me and ill try sort something out for you.
