1. Netherite chestplate is faster than all swords 1.16+. you spawn, mine 2 logs. enter nether into a bastion. open the chest where you get Netherite, a diamond chesplate, and 2 iron ingots. then you craft.

the problem is that when you go into the interface, the game doesn't pause. this means when bartering with pigling you can sit paused and no time will count, despite the fact you're doing useful things which usually take time
