turns out some of these glitches only work if other skips haven't been done because this game is held together with duct tape and reassuring words

hi, sorry for the late update, the hex edits should be more than fine, I have to hex edit my EXE of the game to get it to read and write saves while using a wrapper to make the game run in a window lmao. I'm really interested in that fps fix, my game started running at like 40fps out of nowhere and I've run out of ideas to fix it on my own

it wasn't an emulation problem, it was a chroma key problem on behalf of the marathon host

oh yeah, this can be done on PC but it's super hard to do consistently and I have no idea how it actually works on a mechanical level. The best way I can find to do it is to quit out at a very specific point in the flamar 1 time trial, which causes the glitch to happen on both trade world 1 and canis lunis 2. what I like to do is not hold forward, but instead only press it when Buzz's shoulders are in line with the top of the boxes, that's what I do and I get it first try more or less every time. Doing it this way stops you from accidentally jumping onto the lower box and faffing about trying to get back down
