Im thinking about adding a category for "All hurdles" this should remove most of the cheated runs as completing in 3 seconds isnt possible when you need to jump, what do you guys think?

I received some backlash a while ago for removing the "with mousekeys" category as its simply too hard to tell who is cheating or not without implementing an anti-cheat for this game. That isnt about to happen as it would very quickly kill all runs and newcomers.
However, a user that did not want to be named made a great suggestion to me, separate categories into with and without hurdles.
This way, legitimate runs can jump the hurdles, which would be significantly harder to cheat and those who wish to go as fast as possible, who may or may not be cheating still have their own category.
Please let me know if you like this idea and which you think should be the default category, personally I think that with hurdles should become the default to reintroduce some legitimacy and competition into running this game.
Thats totally fine, due to the fact im not about to force people to install an anti-cheat for a web-based game that takes under 10 seconds to complete, cheating is completely allowed simply because its impossible to prove if someone is cheating unless they admit it.
If you want to take back your first place, might I suggest also using a macro.
Thats your opinion Rodrigo, its impossible to verify if someone cheated or not and the old system of "Anything under X time is cheated" is just stupid, this is the best compromise available without requiring external software.

OdessaMama has not logged into their speedrun.com account for over 6 months now so I am now also a super mod.
I have removed the with mousekeys category as its imposible to tell if someone cheated due to the simplicity of the game and how easy it is to use macros.
I ahve moved all runs over to the Any% category and re-reviewed all runs, any that have a missing video or only a picture as proof have been removed as the HTML of the page can be easily edited.
Cheating is now ALLOWED, please feel free to re-submit any previously rejected runs that used mousekeys, macros etc.
THe only mod remaining wasnt ever online, I now mod the game so runs should be verified again.
Fairly sure the 'old' mod gave up because his retarded rulings made everyone hate him, hasn't been online in a long time.
If you're going to un-mod, can you pass mod to me, since you're super mod now you'd be killing the community...
THe new WR in official category is 1.7 seconds My time of 2.8 was moved to "With mousekeys" because a sub 3 was considered impossible about 10 months ago.
I think the redundant category should be removed and all times moved back to the main leaderboard, or at least be consistent and but the new 1.7 in mousekeys.
But thats my exact point, I dont use mousekeys...
So after Grundle, a new player of the game decided to question every run that he couldn't beat, there are now 2 categories.
Mousekeys and non-mousekeys
Non-mousekeys rules state that anything under 4 seconds will be rejected.
This makes no sense to me, I didnt even know mousekeys existed before just now and somehow my run was moved to the mousekeys category and im completely ineligible from the normal category because I can do sub 4 seconds?
If this were anything more important this would be the start of an overthrow of current moderators, theres no rhyme or reason to it and honestly it just seems like pandering to LITERALLY a single person who cannot fathom that people are better than him at something.
Just checked, my run is in the mousekeys category but you just said I dont use mousekeys?

Im legitimately confused, I do runs on a laptop and use my wrist resting on the touchpad to do mouse clicks wphile I lean over and use Left+Right to run also
Since running fullscreen is required for sub 4 now, it may help people to know that you can run the game without the surrounding garbage if you go to this link, it loads only the game feature and not the rest of the google page.
So just because I leverage the super broken way the game is coded my run is removed and then you approve other sub 3 second runs?
Nope, the section to submit a run asks for a video, its pretty self explanatory, ive already denied 2 runs for only providing an image, please dont make it 3
