How do I implement an autosplitter into livesplit?

Is there anywhere online where I can download the game or can I only get the game by buying the disc somewhere?

Is the squirtle route or the charmander route more beginner friendly?

I would really like to speedrun this game but I don't have time for a five hour any% run. Is it possible that a shorter, more beginner friendly category like forest/ snow temple rta or something similar could be made or is that just never going to happen?

What is the best capture card to use to record my gameplay from my wii? I have been trying to figure out the best one to use but they all seem really complicated to set up and use.
