I think it would be cool to do a master sword category. Afaik you need a certain number of hearts to pull the master sword, so the category would make you have to do a certain amount of shrines and/or dungeons.
If you want to be a mod, tell me here. You must at least contribute a run before asking to be a mod (then I'll know if I can trust you).
The second one we normally damage boost through in bowser. It's basically tapping the raccoon suit earlier so that mario gets it right before he touches the burner.
I'm not sure if this is known, but when you get a powerup you get a little bit of invincibility frames. You can use this in 6-Bowser to get through a burner and save time by not taking a hit from it (though it is a bit precise).
Now that I think about it, what we could do is have IL runs loaded from custom saves that we put in resources. I know it's a bit arbitrary (all the categories are), but it would work.
ILs don't work for this game, because it's not exactly level based, and is incremental.
I've seen games like terraria display each version. We should make a new "category" if/when we find out that the version affects the time. Btw where do you find the version number?
I think that the run should end when you do all routes then beat the champion. This is because a lot of games with categories like this follow this guideline (do whatever, then complete game). I completely understand if you don't want to change it.
