On another note, for anyone seeing this, 2.0 changes how the stars spawn and make it a lot less predictable, so if you wanna speedrun the game, consider trying 1.7

Hello,

I'm just wondering what is happening with runs verification, because I have more than 20 runs that have been waiting for verification, with the oldest one being from 2 weeks ago.

I know the mods have a life too, and probably have other priorities but I find it very odd and especially long this time, while some runs got verified 13 or 10 days ago so having some news would be nice

If I had to vote to remove categories, I'd remove 1 star 50 stars and 99 star. First one is a pure question of luck, no point. The other 2 are just a waste of time.

Hi there! I have looked what you changed, and I must say it's very practical!

I don't think removing the custom powerups category is an good idea. Map strategies change quite a lot when you have a propeller.

The start time always stays the same, it's when you spawn

It's the end time that we're talking about, you could do a 1 star run, then go for 4 more stars for a 5 stars run

It doesn't precise that you have to win now, just get the required amount if stars. Does that mean I can do a 10 stars speedrun, and publish it for the 1 and 5 stars categories too?

Yes, that's fair

If the 9 players leave in the mid-run, leaving only you on the game, the 9 players still being considered, because your spawn is different than them, on solo your spawn is specific, with more players your spawn is different than solo, that's it

You're searching excuses at this point. I want you to tell me the point of doing 10 players speedruns with only 1 player. Please be logical.

Did you even read what I said? That means that you can make a 10 players run, then they all leave at the start, and you're doing a 10 player Multiplayer% while being solo, which is illogical. Tell me how they participated by leaving the game :)

If I take what you and Keykay said, I could make a 10 players speedrun, everyone but me leave, so I do it alone. What's the point? It's not a 10 players run anymore, it's just me. So we are missing the point of the 10 players Multiplayer% speedrun.

About your friend lagging, because video proof s needed, that means that he has all the time in the world to either play when he lags less or fix his Internet to send a valid run.

If someone leaves mid-game, the run is not valid.

About number 3, if it doesn't make any difference, why is it an option then? Propeller is a strong item that changes strats. Because of that, it is needed that the lobby rules are shown. Also because you could potentially send the same run twice.

Number 4 I know it's very similar but it costs nothing to be more precise, so people are not mistaken like I was.

And all rules should be the same for everyone, not just wr or top3 or whatever.

I think we need some more precise rules. Here's my ideas:

  1. The game's audio should be audible.

  2. In a Multiplayer% run, not any of the player can leave mid-game.

  3. The player has to show, at the start or at the end of their run, if customs are enabled or not.

  4. The race starts from the moment the player appears and ends when the player wins, when the required star count appears in the leaderboard.

If anyone has any suggestions or any other rules to add in mind, please tell me here. My objective here is to limit cheating, as this game can be very easily cheated because it's open source. I had a few other rules in mind, like having to put the in-game timer to make it hard to edit/cut, but I'm not sure about this one so I'll just leave it here.
