No idea this came out, thanks for the heads up.
Differences for those wondering is it looks like they added licensed topics and content creators (https://steamcommunity.com/games/239820/announcements/detail/4139442565108226365).
You have to keep in mind it the time around the holidays so it would make sense that runs have not been approved for a bit around this time of year. For a game as inactive as this one there isn't a point to have a huge mod team. The time difference of 12 hours for the mod team being in Europe isn't really a significant argument (an Yocko's location is Chile which is South America). TheJayJay has been active and approved runs quickly and accurately in the past (my guess is he is on holiday), but he doesn't have the highest mod role and the other two have been fairly inactive over the course of the past 2 years so some changes have been hard to make.
Also to be completely frank none of you really have enough knowledge/experience of the game mechanics and such to be able to properly verify runs in terms of cheating or stuff (not saying you can't mod in terms of retime and such).
IMO you should give it some time for runs to be verified, and if you haven't made an attempt to contact any of the mods after a week+ of not verified than you really can't complain about needing to be mod. No action needs to be taken until I would say 3-4 weeks especially at this time of year.

Considering this game is impossible to TAS due to literally everything being RNG (even when and where you can press the buttons), I am okay with this for a couple hours of work. There is a second to be saved and its pretty obvious where it is, but I buffered my inputs for the average animations, and I ended up getting fast ones every time in this run lol. I used a AutoHotKey script to write the TAS. Happy to answer any questions about the run or TAS if there are any.
Also in the Chinese version for some reason the menu buttons are clickable sooner and transition faster. Can't explain why but if you play on Chinese for a while and switch back to English you will definitely notice it lol
I don't know if anybody has seen the TAS that was featured at ADGQ (), but it incorporates some portal momentum strats that have never been used in a submitted run before. I've done some testing in 1-1 and 4-1 and its hard to get the momentum going and after that you have to do fairly frame perfect jumps to maintain the momentum. Anybody want to give figuring out some form of this a shot? Even a little bit could make a difference in the WW, no WW, and definitely Warpless.
I've had the ceiling/floor falling without dying glitch happen to me a few times before
Why does verification change what the strats are?
No problem, if you have any more questions or want to talk about strats or routes you should totally join the discord channel
Any% means you start from a new save file and then unlock the costumes as you go, so if you don't want to unlock any that would be fine, and then your run would be able to be Any% and None. Just a word of advice that I have found No Costume to be way slower, collecting 10 tickets in Loading Bay for Double Grav takes about 15ish more seconds than collecting none, and Double Grav will save way more than 15 seconds with the cycles you can skip and gaps you can cross and other things in all the rest of the levels. I haven't officially tested it, but I am pretty sure you will save more time overall just based on how much Double Grav is used.
I just realized it says "Unlock the costume as you advance in the game (exemple: To use Double Grav, you have to get 10 tickets in Loading Bay etc.)," but that is kinda pointless for Ultimate since you would have already beaten the game, and for the other suits you would just only use them for Dark Lab anyways, so I think the categories besides Any% and 100% are kinda pointless and inefficient.
Hello, I have just started running this game today and it has been a lot of fun. One thing I noticed is that there is a full run category for every suit. That confuses me a little because would it be from a new game, or beat all 4 stages with the suit. In my opinion, it seems like Any% and 100% are plenty, and will provide more competitive and clear categories for the game to be run, and players can have their own routes, rather than a category/run for each suit.
It was added when randomphoenix03 was the only active mod (is my theory not 100% sure), and if you look at his No WW run he kinda needed it lol. For everything but Warpless you're not gonna have a competitive time if you die anyways, so it doesn't really matter too much. And for Warpless it just allows people to complete the pack and submit without worrying about being perfect, so I think it might be more friendly to new players. I'm the only active player/mod rn, so I don't have a reason to change it since nobody else is submitting times. If more people joined the community and ran the game and wanted it changed I would have no problem with that.
Hey I'm going to start running this soon I think because it looks pretty fun. From just doing some practice runs and testing it looks like having a lot of warm days can screw you over, and on the other side a lot of cold days are better. It might be cool to add some sort of counter when submitting a run that would show the number of warm days and number of cold days and etc. Just a thought I had from testing things out.
I mean personally I was thinking about 100% and i don't think it would be a good category as its only two more levels, but maybe something like save max penguins would be good. There is no difference with a completed save file, but it is easier to see that you beat all the levels when the save data is cleared, so that would be a community decision thing. I think a IL leaderboard is viable for sure, but a sub 10 minute run isn't too hard when just starting out so it would be another community decision.
EDIT: Also now that I think about it an IL leaderboard wouldn't really have much variance in it. There aren't any strats that are really too risky to do in a run, so all of the top times would be the same. If we started using milliseconds for IL, it would be people winning by like milliseconds and not actual time. Just my thoughts on the matter.
Make sure you turn on Global Hotkeys in settings, idk if you figured it out already
