MexicoI'd like everyone's thoughts on changing NG and even NG+ to only do the Chapter 7 Inferno fight. Maybe not for NG, but I'm strongly in favor of it for NG+. Simply because of the first stage of chapter 10 is such BS. Plus the point of the run is to go as fast as possible and kill Inferno. Chapter 7 is naturally faster and that stage is way easier and not run killer.
I had done runs and submitted but deleted as Baja pointed out others for NG did both Inferno fights. I only did Chapter 7's Inferno. For everyone's sanity I believe 7 should be the end.
Additionally I don't know if anyone else noticed it, but I'm convinced more runs you finish on NG+. The harder the stages get if so that is incredibly stupid because you need to beat NG every time before a NG+ to get the easier AI.
To ensure there's more effort and fairness instead of one person getting lucky with a small room. 10th place and 1st Place runs must be above 25th place to be valid. As it's unfair if someone starts at 11th place and then gets to 10th in less than 4 seconds.
Each one added seems kinda silly and clogs up the board. Couldn't it just be Very Easy, Normal, and Very Hard?
Note this can always be changed as players better utilize moves and figure out optimal strats or ring out setups.

So say you don't have the file for the game's SR logo. Is there a way to get the file from the site? I tried right click and open image in new tab, but it's the smaller image file.
Shouldn't the other categories be ILs and the main category be Any%? The others are clogging up the boards.
So I passed this idea to someone, but I figured I wanted to do so with everyone and thought of recently. Only because someone submitted a run for Arcade as Taki. When Inferno is the most optimal character to use while yes Arcade No Inferno is a category. I want to have a page for fans to run the characters they like and enjoy. I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts on it.
How it'd be setup is it be called Soulcalibur Characters maybe? I don't know on a name we can probably vote on one. It's only going to be a level leaderboards page where levels are the characters. And the categories are the games so SC, SC II, SC III, etc with variables for those games.
So SC as an example will have One Round, Two Rounds, Three Rounds, SC II will have Standard and Extra, IV will have Normal and Hard, V will have Easy and Hard, and VI will have the difficulties it has now.
I think this can bring new life into the games and for everyone to optimize the characters and go for the best possible times for each one. Given how many games and characters there are there's plenty of runs to do and have fun doing so.
Can the difficulties only be for ILs be Lite and Insane since the ones in between aren't as big as Lite to Insane. Plus makes the boards look nicer to only have Lite, Insane, and Group.
Can music games be removed from the site like Guitar Hero and Rockband? The only time difference that can happen is menus and even then it's very little. Songs have the same time and honestly how can you run them anyways. You're just playing songs not like you can make them go by faster.
So we're in the process of simplifying the categories and I accidentally deleted one without swapping the other difficulty runs. Is there anyway a site mod can help restore it prior to deletion. Only after the runs from Acolyte were moved. The game in question is Ninja Gaiden II and category NG++ Any%.
I don't know why I should have to make a forum post about this, but this happens so often. Either someone starts timer late (not when clicking join and when game starts) or doing 1,000 score killing themselves for the 500 points.
These are clearly stated in the rules yet I have seen runs needing verification and these keep popping up. So people please read them. I am sick of this happening.
Any glitch hunters wanting to break some games? If so could this be a central thread to talk to glitch hunters and request games. I'm sure people want to see the maximum limit of the games they run.
Hi I was wondering if it's really necessary to have all of them? Why not just Very Easy and Hard?
I noticed the Redux game is not on the site. Was wondering if a mod can request it and the series?
Now since they own them could we see a remaster of the game, backwards compatible to XB1, or a new game in the series?
The one I'm using has one and I don't know what the exact time is. I could try with trial and error, but I'm wondering if there's any info and what it is?
Anything goes in this example for the sake of curiosity. Me personally I love obscure or not well received games. Because they are generally games that had an interesting idea. Just didn't have big budget or executed well.
So for crossover I'd like to see Rourke from Damnation into Brute Force. Had both series done well enough they could have gone far. Maybe Brute Force could have been the shooter equivalent of fighting games with guest characters from shooters.
Galen or almost any Ninety Nine Nights character into Soulcalibur as they would fit in perfectly well.
Krom from Bloodforge into Hunted The Demon's Forge as the two are both dark fantasy games. Also seem to be influenced by Gears of War with the style. Altho Bloodforge is more of it's own.
Master Chief from Halo going to Sera because maybe the Covenant traveled there on the great journey. And teams up with Marcus Fenix to take out the Covenant and Locust. Maybe the imulsion and flood team up or mix and create a terrifying threat needing the two worlds to work together.
