Hey, just wanted to let you all know that the final version of the game is out! You can find it linked under the original game as well :)
Changelog:
- Fixed velocity and sprite animation not being reset upon reset to checkpoint (No more playing the game twice to get a good run!)
- Checkpoints now have a more accurate hitbox (Final area unchanged so times should be pretty similar)
- Speedrun timer is now visible onscreen throughout the entire run
- Updated godot engine version to v4.2.2
Hello I'm skullbuns, the creator of Celestn't! I find it absolutely hilarious and heart-warming people have suddenly taken to speedrunning my rushed 3 hour Celeste parody.
To honour this, I want to release a small update to the game to help make it more speedrun friendly. My current plans are as follows:
- Keep this version as a separate 'jam version' so runs of the current version are still valid.
- Add a 'full reset' key that allows you to reset to the start and reset the timer.
- Display timer throughout the entire run
- Removing any weird visual or physics bugs that result from resetting.
