oh, i did find a way to skip the first dialogue with Odo, sadly this also skips your first level up so you are missing crittical skills :p but ill see if such a skip works on other dialogues.
How it works, stand right before the trigger of the dialogue / cutscene, hold block and start a dodge roll into the trigger. Before you actually hit the trigger open the menu and switch to multiplayer private lobby, after you see the dialogue / cutscene play you switch back to normal. So far only the dialogue with Odo got skipped but i havnt tested any thing after you meet Odo for the first time
Are there ANY known glitches or bugs in this game?
As far as i know ppl have already developed an autosplitter that looks at certain ingame variables to start / pauze / stop the game. You can find the files for that in the discord and i believe it will be available in autosplit before the leaderboards open. I hope someone else of the community can confirm?
Hello!
i've recently found out about this nostalgic game and i wanted to run / glitchhunt it but i cant seem to be able to make it run on my pc.
I have windows 10 but i run the game in compatibility mode for windows XP and the game starts just fine but whenever i start a new game the game becomes unresponsive.
Anyone with a solution / similair issues?
we do have a discord if you want to join
it is possible on any map from any wall you can crouch behind.
The idea is: spam 'crouch behind wall' and 'go prone' after eachother. I think that when both actions overlap the game does not know where to put you and just put you at a default value. This default value is not necessarily in the middle of the map, this is different from map to map, most maps put you out of bounds so its not use-able. So far only the museum has a usefull warp.
In the flak tower you get REALLY close under valid ground but i have not been able to find a way to gain a tiny bit of height, cuz if you can you can actually clip back inbounds. Sadly this is not possible yet
ive been wondering if its maybe a rythm thing. That the fastest way is just a rythm in which you click exactly after a dialogue loads in instead of spamming, because the game is funcky with spamming as it also wants to buffer A presses sometimes. The buffer perhaps pausing the detection for inputs
yea mixing mouse and keyboard and controller is slower because the clicks overlap and the game just sees it as holding down the click button
correction, the fastest way is possible, you can drop all the way down near the beginning of the level and from down there you CAN trigger the ending with a VERY precise shot :D saving ALOT of time. Over 3 minutes if everything goes correctly, compared to the current ANY% WR
i played around with the final level, factory. I did find 2 ways to get down, 1 to get down from upper level to final sniper spot, another way from the elevator room down to the big tank area. in both cases the roof over the tank area does not get unloaded so there is no clear shot to the hanging metal thingy. also the first case does not have the final objective activated, the second one, skips planting the first explosive upstairs AND the elevator ride, you can just plant the 4 explosives at the pillars and the final one on the tank. IF you can blow up the tank explosive by shooting a dynamite near it then the second way down saves around a minute of the current wr video (on first try ofcourse). But i dont know if you can finish the final level by blowing up the explosive on the tank with a dynamite so i dont know if this glitch would even help
edit: or maybe even a rocketlauncher, the shot might curve down enough to hit the hanging metal thingy at the end
Lol, apparently this skip is not new, its also used in the #1 any% run xD
1 Good place to share bug/glitches/skips/optimizations instead of the forum here :p
yea keyboard also works. just hold down and right to go left and up as you load back in
You are our hero @Heliotay, are you the only active moderator?
yea it actually is :D, just spam jump and swing your sword a couple of times
isnt the ubertown boss called Vegiesaur? Or something like that
