@Pear just use adblock. It's definitely more justified in my case (since I donated to the site in the past), but I feel like if ads are being intrusive that adblock is completely justified.
I agree w/ all of this, but for ranking via 'AF', it should be possible to do this using the src API and just posting like a spreadsheet or something on the forums. If anyone ever makes, this hmu, bc/ I'd be interested in using it.
Added EvoCapture 3DS/DS cards to the list after a suggestion from @wartab Updated every HDMI converted with proper disclaimers after off-site feedback from @JuZockt_
Try looking at part 8 here: https://www.speedrun.com/speedrunning/thread/pt010#ch8How_do_I_time_my_runs_ Generally though, you just need to record some footage of google's stopwatch and edit that over your run on mobile. I don't know of anything that can be sideloaded (other than maybe on android, but I have 0 experience with android phones)
@Sandstorm187 OBS Studio 100%, Live is just OBS, but it uses a tiny bit extra processing for chat n stuff Settings should all be the same
If you just wanna see all mobile games, just go to the games section and hit the dropdown menu where it says all platforms, and click on whatever platform you're on.
- Recording audio should be completely normal, are you sure you aren't low on space? That's the only time that tends to be an issue. Are you sure you're running OBS in admin mode? (this gives it extra windows 10 compatibility and uses less processing). As, make sure you use the right video encoder, not everyone should use the software encoder, sometimes hardware is better. If you have an NVidia card, New NVAC is always the best. As O.D.W. stated, you can also try lowering to 30 FPS, and CPU Profile is also pretty important. Bitrate doesn't really affect anything unless you're streaming. As he also mentioned, resolution can also lower CPU costs significantly, recording 720p or even as low as 480/360p definitely looks worse than 1080p, but it uses a lot less of your computer to record. Final tip would also be to make sure something else isn't eating up your CPU as you play. If you wanna see what I got set up, I made a quick guide, but this is made for an average computer (which has an i5 or better and preferably NVidia graphics), so it might not apply to you:
- Nothing personally. I used a thing called 'bandicam' prior to OBS, but I can tell you OBS is 9999999x better, especially since bandicam had like a 10 minute limit or something dumb like that.
@Komrade simply putting it there as an option. The recommendation is the just use GV-USB2 though as is stated under the dazzle because it's known to be cheaper and better. Also added a note that it's known to drop frames.

@PlushieMasterYT if the game has been accepted, you just get a notification in the same way that a run was verified. You can also look at someone's info page (such as your own) to see what games you currently moderate just in case you missed the notification. It generally takes 2 weeks -> 1 month to get accepted or rejected.
Check out section 19 in the FAQ thread: https://www.speedrun.com/speedrunning/thread/pt010/1#s77sn
Hit 'edit game' or 'edit theme' on the page of the game and then customize it from there. It's kind of complex, yet simple. I should probably add a guide on that to the FAQ.

I never had the pleasure of owning an SP, maybe I'm just mixing up my game boy advance.
@Walgrey fixed, my bad, super used to just posting what comes in my head. @Cuttyflame did put a disclaimer in that section of the FAQs for that reason (it happens to all of us) New update: Section 19, explaining the basics of customizing a new leaderboard. New update: Section 20, explaining how to find 'good games to run for x console'
My DS worked fine with GBC games if I remember correctly, you just kinda had to shove it in there. Pretty sure it had the same slot as the advance. Also, added the GV-USB2 to the Wii section.
