This game doesn’t have them as you'd need to use save states, which can't be controlled for.

The Rules: Objective: Collect every item, defeat both Ridley and Kraid, and complete the game. Item list: 21 Missile Tanks, 8 Energy Tanks, Morph Ball, both Ice Beams, Bombs, Varia Suit, Wave Beam, Screw Attack, High Jump, and Long Beam.

Banned: Door-jumping/wraps, block clips. Basically stay out of the walls. Also, this is Deathless so you may not die or use Up+A to skip sections. Allowed: Unmorph Jump (i.e Mid-air Jump), sequence breaks, anything not explicitly banned.

You could also do Any% or the 100% cats, but without the screen wraps and such your time wouldn't be "competitive."

@ANGEL_UNDEAD wasn't that a hardware failure? I thought someone scoured the code and determined there was nothing that indicated it was feasible code-wise.

Also, I've never heard of the skip glitch @reagancontra is talking about. Have you? Is it something that's been rumored to exist?

So how does it work with Duckula? I tried it and kept getting hit, but it works somehow with other runners.

Is there some other trick to him?

Been watching a few of the sub-8.xx vids and they all seem to do something I can't quite figure out how to do - hit the bosses from the side.

Nearly every vid shows them hitting, say, Magica in mid flight/height pattern, but everytime I try, I take damage and she doesn't.

What am I missing? What's the technique here?
