Noone has done a proper Game 100% run of both glitches and glitchless so it is currently not a part of the boards.
honestly at this point just make a compilation post by comparing which races are only on the other board...
Thanks for pointing that out, added it just now.
We require the timer because without it, retiming the run properly becomes impossible as we rely on the timer to take the first and last frames of the runs.
We already have ILs you can do instead of this. This could go in https://www.speedrun.com/nfsce if there's any interest.
You can use avidemux to retime your run and get the exact time. Moderators will always check if your run is timebugged anyways, so it's up to you if this is done or not.
Hello, could the name of the game be changed from "Ford Racing" to "Ford Racing 2001" Link: https://www.speedrun.com/fordracing/full_game Thank you in advance.
Any chance of us getting any% that doesn't require the run to be completed on hard difficulty, ILs, etc?
The car's ride height is the same in garage as it is during races. Ride height does affect the hitbox, thus a lower ride height will make you bottom out more often. This will make a difference when using the sidewalk, or the dirt in a race. But as we all know the downshift abusing works because the car essentially clips into the ground (even though it's not shown on camera). And that is probably heavily affected by ride height values. You can always play around with it, if you want to change your car's handling just very slightly, but 90% of the time, it's easier to achive better laptimes if you practice. Because as much as you can improve the car's handling, you can also degrade it... agan, we are talking miniscule differences here, but (especially if you do IL runs), that tenths of a second can make or break your run.
Threads that have been open for over a year (and don't have any active discussions) or have been resolved will be locked.
I think you mean the other way around, unless you have some really weird resolution.
Which race is that? Could you provide a video of it?
You can use DxWnd: https://sourceforge.net/projects/dxwnd/
Can you go into more detail on what happens?
Still no luck?
Just insert the CD
