Maybe a sprites% category, it's like 100% but it only relies on capturing sprites. I'd say the run will be about 1h15 long in that case
Yes I understand. However, everytime I start a run I always gain control of Jared in the begining at around 1:37 Meaning that the first cutscene is roughly about 97 seconds long. So we should pretty much remove that amount of time from every run for them to be retimed properly?
Guys wouldn't you think that it would be better if we made it so that the timer starts right after you gain control of Jared? Instead of having it start at the contrast settings and having to watch the same cutscene at the beginning of the game. What I'm saying is, everytime we have to start a run wouldn't it be better if we just loaded a save that puts you right at the beginning rather than having to start a whole new game. It would save a lot of time both for the run and for the runner. And it makes resetting much less painful. Other games and communities do this with their games to save time and not having to wait for the cutscene everytime.
How about a category for the International Sprite League category, there are lots of runs you can do there+ they're short, for example getting 20 fairies in one game run etc..
