According to the changelog for the 1.1.2.7 patch, chests in the marketplace are moved further below the ground as to not be accessed by players. I did some testing, and the chest of the female mage in the courtyard can be accessed. It has some pretty good spells and scrolls, some of which could be sold to get money for other items/myrad rides. This may solve the problem of dealing damage.
It definitely has a bit of a slow start but it gets really good. Push through, it's worth it.
Thanks Chops! duplication kinda takes care of the money aspect. and in turn, the damage aspect as we can just duplicate scrolls. Is there a trick to do the scroll glitch with the chest with skyUI or is that patched out the same way that the vendor glitch is?
Hmmm. If clipping is somehow patched.. that will severely limit things. With SkyUI, there's no way to do the "click and drag" over from your character's inventory to a chest or a vendor. Unless there's another way around it, there won't be infinite gold or scrolls. I suppose there is still save warping, but at that point, why not just use the the mark/recall spells. Unless there's a way to duplicate books that I don't know about, we're kinda SOL
I'm not sure if this is the best place to put this, but I was toying with the idea of routing out Enderal, the newly released total conversion mod. Would anyone else want to collaborate?
I think the first step would be to test out what glitches from Skyrim carry over, and which have been patched. Enderal uses SkyUI, therefore some of the inventory related glitches may be impossible. I have not done any extensive testing yet, so who knows.
There may also be skips similar to Skyrim's Thalmor Embassy skip where picking up a quest item early skips the preceding part of that quest.
We may also have to take leveling into account, as there may be bottlenecks in the late game due to the character not dealing enough damage/getting one-shotted. (This may not be an issue if the infinite scroll glitch still works)
Anyhow, this is all speculative, just some of the ideas I've had floating around my head about the possible run. Let me know if you're interested in collaborating!
