BTW, I'm not even a runner, I just love watching RE4 speedruns, but sometimes it's hard, when a runner finally gets a decent village and they have to reset because of pure RNG factor. But I get your point.

10 minutes into a run, just to find out you get a bad RNG on Del Lago.

Was it ever considered to allow a mod that would always get you "no dive"? That way, the runner would still need to have the skill for the fight, but would eliminate the annoying RNG, that is a total lottery, which could help the overall competitiveness of RE4 running.

Provided that such mod would even be possible.
