Hi, I'm playing BINGO% with the way I personally play. I don't have any plans to submit it to SRC yet, but I would like to get advice from you guys on more interesting subjects. The current subject is as follows
- Defeat applicable enemy models of size S3 or larger (including Giant)
- Obtain certain items (multiple heart pieces and scarabs are required)
- Obtain one skull somewhere, or a square filled with non-obtainables
- Win a race against a spirit
- Ship Ring rescue
- Gun level
- Some mini bosses in Battles (e.g. bosses that need to be defeated to obtain items such as Snaker or Overpower)
There are some easy squares (especially gun lvl 1, rescuing shiplings under the platform, etc.), but overall the game can be played in about 30m to 1h30m.
I would like to have a variety of subjects, so I would like to hear from those of you who play a lot more than I do. Thank you in advance!
Hi again! I’d like to clarify that my suggestion is only regarding the Glitchless category, not Any%. The current Any% category should absolutely remain as it is — flexible and unrestricted regarding aim mode. However, for Glitchless, which emphasizes intended mechanics and honest gameplay, I would like to propose a sub-category for “Manual Only” runs. Since Minishoot’ Adventures is a twin-stick shooter at its core, using manual aim throughout showcases a higher level of control and skill expression. Auto aim reduces much of that challenge, especially when dodging and aiming are separated. This new sub-category wouldn’t replace the current Glitchless leaderboard, but simply offer an additional challenge option for runners who wish to fully embrace manual aiming. I’d be happy to provide a sample run and help with writing a basic rule (e.g. "manual aim must be used from start to finish"). Thanks again for your time and consideration!
Are there any plans to subdivide the categories based on the use of aim mode?
If the game is to utilise twin shooters, I think manual mode would be better as it would allow for greater differentiation in terms of skill.
Of course, dividing the categories would mean that the runners would be spread out, so it may be a difficult decision, but I would appreciate your opinion. Thank you in advance.
