"Explorer" sounds reasonable in the sense of "exploring more" since souls are like "keys" to unlock bonus levels but I personally think that just calling it "Explorer" is a straightforward descriptor that lacks originality and it doesn't make much sense to just "explore" for collectables that aren't needed to complete the game so it would be probably better if it had 2 words or maybe I should give a derivative name for such categories like "True Ending"?
(This is the continuation of this thread)
I have an idea for a new category and I call it "Bonus Ending" since you unlock "Bonus races" by collecting certain amount of souls and clearing them along completing the game. Once again, the idea is that you have to collect 15 souls in the 1st chapter and 10 for other ones with "Whole game", "Bosses" and "Races" turned on but I need your thoughts on how to title it otherwise.
Slightly unrelated but I have an idea for a new category, I call it "Bonus Ending"; the tuning is "Whole game" and "Bosses" and "Races" turned on. The point of it is that you need to complete the game (just like Any%) along with clearing the races but since you need 10 souls in the 1st chapter and 15 in other ones to unlock them, you also have to collect souls in specific levels in order to unlock races for each chapter.
Congrats on the WR, I am really glad that you put a lot of effort for this goal!
Hey there, wanted to tell that if you still speedrunning on older version I recommend you to use the newest (1.2.1.2) patch that makes the game's timer instantly stop if you touch the last lever/chip in bosses.
"Base" levels might be called "Normal" levels, I generally think that "All Levels" should have bosses and bonus races opt out but not for APO levels to follow the category name's goal of completing all levels without distinct levels like bosses and bonus races.
