It's me and TascoDLX. I saw you submitted a run but haven't gotten around to watching it yet. Just like the site rules state.

This is for the original game and not the Rom Hack version. I was going to open a Special Edition Board but never got around to it.
Yeah, the mashing isn't too hard on keyboard or controller. It just takes some getting used to. As for turning around, I think while holding right, you quickly press left, then hold down and you're good to go.
Dart Gun is your best bet or you can simply turn around and ride backwards the entire time without shooting a single bullet. As long as the timing is right, he won't eat you.

Not only is it a great speedrun but an awesome casual game as well. The music, unique island setup and that creepy ass Raptor cave. Definitely one of the best JP games for sure!

In this case it makes much more sense since every port has at least one or more runs on the board while flashback really only showed attention for Genesis and SNES in the last 3 years since I opened the board.
I do it for Another World so I feel ya. Also does Prince of Persia have 80 ports of this game like Flashback? :b Like I said, the board has been up for years and Genesis and SNES are the only two ports that actually showed some numbers.
Ya, in the end It's a lot of clutter. I'm even working on separating Another World because that game has just as many ports.
Not only did I get sub 18 but Ustra did as well. I'm hoping I can get this into the next GDQ event to show off the new optimized route we worked so hard for. I should have submitted it this time around, but there's always next time :D
tbh I requested this game will be changed to Flashback (Sega/SNES) Once that happens this will be a board for Genesis/Sega CD & SNES. I mainly run those ports when it comes to other games and have the most knowledge of those consoles. If anyone wants to open a new board for other ports, Be my guest. From what I gathered since I opened the boards. It seems Genesis and SNES has the most activity overall.

No problem :D Rules have been updated recently. • All runs must be visibly reset before a run. [effective as of March 2022].
As of right now it's Any% and the only official ports that have wall glitch is Genesis and Amiga.
