There are runners who are able to add a pace placement stat on their livesplits, but I haven't figured out how to. Can anyone help me with that?
Regardless of whether or not you decide to do fish clip, the moon ordering is the same. Fish clip is really simple to learn, so I'd recommend trying it out. If you decide not to add it in runs, you could always just use the cheep cheep to get the moon in the maze the intended way and then talk to the sphinx.

I'm assuming they're explaining Mario being clipped into the wall
Yeah, same here. One thing the mods could do is remove load times for runs below a certain threshold (like 1:30) so that top runners won't have to buy a Switch 2. This is done for the NSMB games.
But since the only difference is loads, I don't really see there being a separate category for Switch 2, especially for a relatively inactive game. Yes, pay to win sucks, but speedrunning has technically always been pay to win
Yeah, the Switch 2 loads save well over a minute in Any% lol. The timesave comes from being able to press "A" on the red screen noticeably faster
It's still being discussed whether or not there will be a subcategory. If there is one, it will probably only be temporary since, overtime, more and more people will run the game on the Switch 2
Some people can hide splits during runs to reduce nerves while on a good pace. How exactly do people do that?
because talking about it here gives people a ton of notifications
Yes, button mapping is allowed in speedruns. It's not an unfair advantage, and I'm pretty sure a lot of runners remap to go into first person faster and easier.
Oh, well I think that it's good that ARS is singleplayer because any% is already the category in which the game is pushed to its absolute limit.
Local multiplayer is allowed in any%. And all glitches are already allowed in any% afaik
It also includes things like secret exit if the levels have that
Here is the spreadsheet for all routes for Bowser's Fury Any% (No Amiibo). it includes multiple routes, and some are harder than others. I'd recommend picking an easy one and then working your way up :)
Cool idea! Unfortunately "All 10 Coins" is just "All Badges" except you collect the 3 10 coins in the badge marathon level
I think you need the flower for the seed to actually be there. And you need the seed for the royal seed.
Couldn't you just skip all of world 3 with the out of bounds glitches? But yeah KnuckleFest, Poison Ruins, and Poplin Rescue are mandatory. I think collecting only these 3 flowers would be an interesting category, especially with world skips. It would force you to play a lot more levels than you normally would in worlds 4, 5, and 6, so with world skips Minimum Flowers might be almost as long as ARS.
It takes a while for runs to be verified since there are so many pending runs lol. And speedrunners are running this game on and off and setting new records almost every day
