A setting that allows autoapprove at certain thresholds is something I want to implement sometime.

@PrototypeAlpha I did that before but removed it since it keeps the game off the front page, despite being official. Once certain game types are whitelisted I'll update several games that should have that tag.

In the future there should be support for variable+ for subcategories, so games that use difficulties can have Easy+Normal+Hard, Normal+Hard, and Hard for example. It can also work on this leaderboard system to let all the "latest version" runs also appear on the "any version".

Since this is still on the minds of some people, I'll give a serious response.

The current direction the SMO mods seem to want is to set the main category as a "standard" Any%, meaning no Amiibos, Assist Play, or other shenanigans that have rustled one too many jimmies. Those assists will likely have their own category(ies), so those staunch on using them will be able to.

There's a reason there's no mods for that series. Kirkq will address it.
