Bit of a long shot, but I might as well ask after all this time if the seasonal Deadman Mode timer is enough evidence.

The timer ticks down from 5h55m to 5h54m at the 20-second mark, but surely that can't mean the recording started only 4 minutes and 40 seconds into the world, judging by the leaderboards and the fact the Swampletics series indicated random events operate on a 5-minute timer. Suppose the character creation screen and whatnot counts towards it, which I don't have evidence of.

I don't remember if I used Skippy. So much is lost to history at this point that I don't mind what decision is made, if any. I just thought it would be interesting to discuss before the speedrunning game mode is added.

Obviously this video wasn't created as a speedrun submission. Just a bit of fun.

Yeah, Nintendo took down a whole bunch of duplication glitch videos. They didn't want word getting out on how to perform it. I don't know if it's safe to upload duplication glitch videos now. Perhaps not, since those who haven't updated can still perform the glitch.

Getting another copy of the game does not grant you another save file, even if your other copy is from a different region. If your Switch is hacked, you can swap EmuMMCs or maybe do some save file swapping, but if stock there's nothing you can do except buy a second system.

I thought going back a day is just treated as going forwards a day. Anywho, 7 days is the highest streak you can get - gives 300 miles a pop.
