If I remember correct, this run was already listed on the board which is why I did not comb through it more. The continue button was present, however after confirming a few Crystal locations which where still there (They would disappear if collected previously) I have concluded there wasn't any previous safe file influence on this run. GG on the run! :D

2 year response haha, There are now save files for both PC and PS2 emu versions of the game under the resource tab, I would be happy to provide files for other platforms if that would be of interest. As of right now the most optimal platform is PC, however everyone works with what they have in order to have fun :D

Hey! I don't run the GBA categories, but hopefully I can still help.

There seems to be a GBA run on the boards already using Emu. I would assume just from past experience that it is VBA (Visual Boy Advance) as it seems to be one of the most popular. For the sake of accessibility emu runs for the game are accepted, however will be held to a higher degree of scrutiny when verified to ensure fairness. No speedhacks or other settings that improve the performance of gameplay above the Hardware's original capabilities. These rules regarding the inclusivity may be subject to change in the future as things advance, however that seems to be the state we are at currently.
