So I've been praticing the any% route and I trully like doing the wall clip. But sometimes I do miss my target and the game freeze. But I don't really want to learn the glitchess run. That's when I was thinking.
Would it be possible for a new category ''No OoB'' so you could still use the wall cliping as long as where you land after the clip on the game ground.
Exemple, first stage, instead of having th epress the switch to open the first gate, you could clip through it, etc.. I don't know if it would be a fun run to do and if it could bring more people to the game, since some people might not want to do a run where you're always OoB and wichi could still show some skills needed in the glitchess run. Could be more marathon friendly also for event like GTQ Pax East, etc..
I'll try with a regular controller at first, since I don't own a turbo controller. But when I use a turbo I'll definitly mention it to be sure that it's easier to notice if there's a difference :) thanks
Yeah, that's why I ask, because I also feel like even if it doesn't give an advantage, I feel like it's still ''cheating'' in a normal category. That's why I was talking about another category altogether. But yeah, I'll wait Cyl's opinion on the matter
I was wondering if turbo controller would be allowed for the speedrun, since I don't want to mash the x button constantly. If not, is there a plan to have a seperate category for turbo ?
I was wondering if there was a way to know which crate to open while being chase by Morpheus. The last time I've practice, it was either in the middle left or the right one next to the door as soon as you enter the room with the crowbar.
But now, I was practicing and it was in another crate.
Is it random within ALL the crates or only a few of them ?
Does anyone know if there's a difference between NTSC-U and JPN version ? does the speedrun still work ? or is it more difficult or only text ?
I've been wondering if I use the GB Interceptor to capture my gameboy game (with the real cartridge) do I need to classify the run as an GB emu, since it emulate the game. Or is it not allowed
I was wondering, if I use the GB interceptor as a capture card, how do I have to classify my runs. Is it GB emu ?
I've been wondering, which version is faster ? DC or PS ? Also is there some tech that's specific to one platform
