Not sure if this has been discussed already. But how about co-op runs? I'm not actually sure how local multiplayer exactly works but you can do all the non-story mode categories with a 2nd or 3rd person right? If so that would be fun and probably make the team mechanic more interesting in a speedrun.

To make expert difficulty more played instead of making it mandatory for 100% I'd say have a new game plus all races category with difficulty select as subcategories maybe.

Using in game time, especially for PC, would simplify things drastically wouldn't it?

I've been meaning to ask about this for a while now. And it was super weird because for some reason when I initially submitted my run to the other leaderboards it wasn't actually showing me on the leaderboard despite it being verified and showing as 1st place on my profile. It's fixed itself now though.

Oh I see, I wasn't aware of all the different skips besides early Kim. Makes a lot more sense now. Though I'd also personally prefer 100% glitchless not be a misc. category, but that's not a big deal.

I've been wondering this myself. I especially don't understand the all marbles category. The all bosses is pretty much an Any% without skipping the ENTIRE game so that makes sense. (Though this game nearly requires you 100% it to complete it anyway lol) But I don't see how all marbles is different from 100%. Unless I'm missing something, for 100% you need all udders and all marbles. It would make a lot more sense to me if beating the game wasn't required, and it was simply getting all 1000 marbles, as this would open up some alternate routing. Otherwise it seems to me like just an identical 100% category.

True, though in terms of giving options towards playing the game, I think they made sense. Like as it is you either just play the 3 bowser stages, or you fully complete the game. Having some options between the two was kinda nice.

When did 34 star get deleted? Was a weird category I guess, but provided a middle ground instead of going all the way up to the difficult 70 star.

I was thinking this for a while now, perhaps I'll do pure hero/dark sometime myself.
