So what you saying is that every versions are acceptable for an official correct run but for more speed, tricks/glitches you need a specific versions?

What i experince is that my original german cd from the old days isnt good for a speedrun with the rampage trick because i dont see them doesnt matter which language i pick there are not there. So there are some differences!

Has the steam version a no cd exe in there or over what stuff start it the game?

Overall im still a bit confused lol

Hello im new to gta vc speedrunning. First i want to try speedrun with the USA version with replay glitch/trick/bug But not yet the japan version.

Here is what i have done: Installed gta vc with the german original cd.

My problem is now that the cd has some scratches and the game get stock (for a few sec) at some specific points of the run. So do i have to get a no cd exe?

Im also not sure what specific version i need for the speedrun 1.0 or 1.1? I get a little bit confused with all because of bloodpatch, censored, unensored,steam version...

So please tell me what i need and have to download to get an offical correct run
