Where we will place run made by this speedrunner, what is probably fastest WC in-game time:

This run is not like actual speedrun, but "strategy" of how to make speedrun.

You can write another speedrunners what are not listed in leaderboard.

How about making category where you spawn in point A and must reach point B as fast as possible. It can be done on many maps and include flying from one spot of planet to other (from equator to north/south pole), from planet/moon to other planet/moon and other variations.

В принципе, возможность оптимизировать что-то есть, хотя таких моментов мало. Я вижу такие:

  • В 14 уровне можно пройти быстрее, если влететь в первую же ворону;
  • Уровни 7 и 11 можно пройти быстрее, если быстрее решать паззлы с холодильником и электрощитком соответственно;
  • Ну и в целом если быстрее делать действия (то есть минимизировать время, когда персонажи бездействуют), можно пройти уровни быстрее.

Как насчет добавить категорию прохождения на 500% - ведь именно она является максимально возможной сложностью в игре, а не 200%.

К примеру, как можно быстрее найти какой-то предмет (экзоскелет, ФТ-200м, пулемет, редкий артефакт). Можете предлагать ещё идеи.

These is categories/game modes what can be speedrunned but currently not listed on board because of no one actually run these game modes:

  1. Tutorial (all or levels separatly)
  2. Tight spot; Transport belt madness
  3. Supply challenge
  4. Rocket rush
  5. PvP; Team production
  6. Default non-standart settings (Rich resourses, Marathon, Death world, Death world marathon, Rail world, Ribbon world, Island)
  7. Some kind of special non-standart settings (like world with hardest possible settings with small amount of resourses and many biters, maybe some other ideas).

Optionally they can be divided to normal, multiplayer and massive multiplayer categories - or just can go all these in one board to not divide it in too many categories.

I think the "100%" category can be added.

Rules: "Gamemode doesn't matter. The timer starts when a player appears. The timer stops when player's company captures 100% of the market (hires all drivers on map)." If opponents hired some of drivers, you can push opponent's driver's truck into water to sink it - then said driver will be fired and becomes neutral.

Another category is "Game over%" - "Gamemode doesn't matter. The timer starts when a player appears. The timer stops when the company gets bankrupt.".

I have idea of "World conguest" category. It's difference from "True world conguest" is: in TWC your NATION must capture literally everyone and stay the only country in world, when in normal WC timer stops when your ALIANCE captures all world (all countries in world except you is puppets, allies, puppets of allies, exc), so you dont need to atack your allies/puppets.

So this variant is more like "Any%" compared to "100%", as with lend-lease glich you can make allies and puppets extremely fast, and they can capture other countries pretty fast (especially if they over-charged with heavy equepment), what means WC faster then TWC.

Where we will place this strange run, made by user "1826"? Its labeled as "Full game speedrun", what means "All campaigns" run. In its start speedrunner entered command "BN85C", and other moves were frameperfect, no map modification or cheat codes used.

Поскольку отдельные казуальные игры не популярны и не сильно известны, и не все помят их названия, было бы логично сделать серии "Alawar" и "Neosoft", которые бы состояли из игр соответствующих компаний (по аналогии с уже имеющимся Nitrome series). Возможно, и вовсе сделать список всех казуальных игр на сайте безотносительно от разработчика.

In "WR History", where is the graphics of run times, the options of "Hall of Fame" is so many what it fills all the space, making the graphic itself small and unusable. I think what we can do normal "category extensions" and "hall of fame" 2 different pages, or at least make "extensions" in "misc" category of game page and "hall of fame" in the second category, what may be analogue of "category extensions" page (when they becomes too many and needed to make in different pages).

Like in NES wersion, there is the way to freeze Harry and Marv and wait for nearly 20 minutes. So second category may have other winning condition. Time may either stop when Harry and Marv gets freezed/stuck (like in bath on level 1), or when you make last button input (like in TAS runs made). Its the good question what wariant to use, but both wariants actually makes possible to make runs faster in this second category, and not the same lenght. I dont think what making some categories with multiple difficulty levels (from "Beginner" to "Expert") will be good idea, because tactic will be the same freezing Wet Bandits and waiting ± 20 minutes. But it can be good idea when used to "Stuck%" categories.

There is new Any% run what is actually faster then current WR. It made by youtuber with nickname "Just Survivor", but IDK why he still not sended it here.

I think there can be some new categories. First is normal Any% in-game time; Second is Death%, "Die as fast as possible"; "Boss kill%" (Dogman, DMC guard, tribal guard, DMC drone, Merga ghost, Yezinka); "Tourist%" (visit all plot encounter locations); "Aquire rare/expensive item%" (DMC armor set, Gauss rifle, gun, Jar of screaming eyes, nanobot kit, cart/sled/travois, DMC bracelet, YpcV, other items); "Map opening%" (1/3, 2/3 and all map).

I think what there may be new category "Crash%". Aditionally, it can by split to categories with the reguirement of softlock, hardlock and game crash.

Rules: The run starts after you pick your character's name and the run ends when you crashes the game by IN-PLAY means.

I think what if we have "Game B - R.O.B. the Robot%", we may have "Game B - Phases 1-25" and "Game B - Coop". Rules:

(Game B - Phases 1-25: Timing starts when you press start on Game B Timing ends when the end of level music starts after completing Phase 25. One player must use Controller 2 Everdirve or PowerPak may be used.)

(Game B - Coop: Timing starts when you press start on Game B Timing ends when the end of level music starts after completing Phase 25. Two players must use Controller 2; First player control blue pipes, second player control red pipes Everdirve or PowerPak may be used.)

I think there may be 3 modes: speedruning the "Tutorial"/story campaign (maybe also the early variants of it), the "Tight spot" campaign, and "Transport belt madness". Also there may be variations: with pre-made loadouts of scheme or not. Also there may be other game modes: PvP (maybe variant with no enemy players - launching rocket to win), team production, wave defense, supply challenge and more. And including what each mode can be in 2 or more categories.

I think what there must be new category: War%: You need to win the war ASAP, by solo, or in coop (its different categorys). You can use as many generals and heroes as you have. Also there must be 4 variations: win the war while playing for USSR, USA, Germany, or as anyone regardless. Timer starts from start of war and ends at end of war, speedrunner plays from start to end.

I see what there many other ategories what can be made (Or even in Category Extensions, every category can be optionally have 2 wersions: in new and in old build, or even 1 category per station/server: Toxins% (Destruction for RND ASAP) Death%(Self-destruct ASAP) Crates%(Send crates in Cargo stogare to CentCoM ASAP) Crates100%(Send all crates from all parts of station to CentCom ASAP) Research%(Open all technologies or make tech level to maximum in RND ASAP) Wariations of Antogonist%(Make goals of antogonist (traitor, mage, blob, malph, ECT) of the made type ASAP, 1 category wariation per 1 type of antogonist) Wariations of Destruction%(Destroying as many as possible enemies, 1 category wariation per 1 antogonist + 1 category with playing as normal crew member) Escape%(Escape on escape shuttle or escape pod ASAP) Space%(Go into space ASAP, 2 wersions: go to space alive, or regardless of it)
