Yeah this version isn't the real Doodle Jump, however, it is the version used for Web Speedruns. That is because it's faster than the version that is a direct port of the game, and it's been accepted in the community, so the only way to break a world record on the web version is to play on that weird version of Doodle Jump

To be specific, each minute is 60,000 points, each second is 1,000 points, and each millisecond is 1 point. So a score of 20 minutes is really 1,200,000 points.

I totally understand your confusion, and don't worry about it! But unfortunately you are correct, the under water theme has a much more powerful rocket, just like Arcade Mode, which makes it different than the Original Theme.
