you have to crouch and then uncrouch with good timing while walking into a vent. it takes some practice, but it's not super hard to pull off once you get it down.
i once heard that having a thinner avatar can make it harder but idk if that still applies, so don't take my word for it
it can save a good amount of time over going through the vent normally, the only reason i don't do it is because you have to look up and walk backwards to do it, meaning you basically have to memorize what vent you are going through to use it efficiently
one more thing; the green pipe in that one room can be done faster with vent walking
i don't think my silly little comment will cause a rule change but incase it does i updated the forum since i found out the trick works with abomination too
can't update the title unfortunately
odd, i don't really see a point in restricting non-paid revives when the game counts it as legitimate (excluding certain badges of course)
correction: it only works in multiplayer if everyone else is dead (so it's basically useless unless everyone does it). why i just put that there without testing idk
You can use witching hour to skip the firewall and abomination grand encounters (works in singleplayer, but it probably only works in multiplayer if everyone does it).
What you have to do is change the time on your device to be 3:00 AM (or close to 3:00 AM). Witching hour will always attack in about a minute or so when the time on your device hits 3:00 AM, so all you have to do is time it right.
After witching hour kills you, you can wait out the dialogue and take the free revive, which spawns you at the end of the grand encounter.
I might not be the first to find this, but I figured it's worth sharing.
