Oh, well I found a glitch on the web version that let's you drive on the parts you are not allowed to drive on without voiding out
Is something different about the other online version that you have to use the Steam version?
If you can, use OBS. If you want, you can use this online no download screen recorder: https://josejefferson.github.io/online-screen-recorder/
Here's the Kingdom Hearts speedrunning discord invite (https://discord.com/invite/YEP6PSz) if you're interested. Lots of people their that can help you or give you suggestions.
Have you seen it on Speedrun.com at all? Speedrun.com doesn't have every game, and won't add every game; depends on how big the speedrunning community for it is. If you want to, you can request it be added (https://www.speedrun.com/support/tickets/new) but expect a delay and maybe even refusal.
Just a small recommendation, when you press 'c' to bring up the menu to either quit or retry, someone may accidentally press it and then they have option other than essentially restart the level. So maybe consider putting a 'cancel' button.
I love me some old-fashioned 2d games
Hey, I'm definitely not the most "speedrunny" dude here, but just play whatever you really like. At the end of the day, you're only going to stick to what you like, so just pick a game that is in a style and genre that you like, and play the most fun or easy category. If you're looking for free games you're gonna have a much harder time. I can recommend some things I guess, but no guarantee you're gonna like them:
- Hollow Knight if you like metroidvania games.
- Anything from the Ratchet & Clank series (a childhood game of mine, not too difficult overall and has really cool glitches especially in the original trilogy).
- The Jak and Daxter series.
- Kingdom Hearts if you're into that and like long speedruns with mostly strategizing and not many glitches.
Hope you find something you like!
I deleted the video because I thought this game was dead lol. I'll make a new run though.
