PortugalHello. I just wanted to say that the only thing that difficulty changes is the ammount of lives you start with. The difficulty increases as you go back to the next loop. I believe there's 4 different loops where it repeats the 4th after you complete it.
There's a way to skip the moving platform on the lavafall. From the most top left position of the 2nd spider you can do a well timed double jump straight to the bottom floor skipping the waiting :)
I don't know if this was known, but I didn't see it on Any% WR run. I got a 27.70 IL with it and I'm not the best player.

Hello. I just did a casual 100% playthrough the game and tried to use 0 Elixirs, so in order to do that I avoided all chests containing Elixirs, but it seems I need to collect them all anyways, so I collected them right before the final boss and saved + reset if an Elixir needed to be used.
The question is, I didn't use any Elixir, but at the end of the game it still said I used 1 Elixir, that's because there's 2 chests with Elixirs. So 1 Elixir is stored, and the other is used to recover to full health since you can't store 2?
Any help if it's possible to complete the game 100% with 0 Elixirs?
I have a question. I don't know if you have noticed but when you're on the Play Menu if you press Y you'll get a hint.
One of the hints I just got says that Red color gives luck. What does it mean? Does it make enemies give more points? Let me know if you know anything about it.

Hello. I've been playing this game and I can tell that Jsmans89's run for Stage 1 IL is invalid because the stage he's playing doesn't match the one he's submitting to. You can clearly notice it by the pattern in the boss fight, just compare it with 16BitPanda.
The stage he played is the one right after you create your first picture, and that one might be unaccessible through the Stage Select menu unless you delete your game data and try again.

Hello. I have a question about a move that you can do with Midknight which is Drains Life. I don't know how to do it. I read it on a FAQ from GameFAQs that I need to press Right + X + Y + Z but that doesn't seem to work for me.

Hey, I've done some research and found out that somehow the GC Emulator is faster than the GC. How I got to this conclusion?
1st I figured out how to clear the traffic with the camera (I had posted it before on the forum) 2nd I played an "autoscroll" mission and got no traffic, and still I'm behind the Emulator by 2.01s
The mission is Haul Out - Tail Steve where I got 54.80 by getting no traffic at all. I found it weird as I was doing IL's of other levels and I was getting worse times and seemed to have better performance than the Emulator run submitted here.

I was playing Circuit Mode today and I've discovered something that IS usefull for RTA runs. If you press L (button to look backwards) once in a while, it will despawn traffic in a short time range. I'm not sure if it can be used to despawn Henchmen in the later levels, but I think it's worth the try.
Hello. I got this game for Game Cube a few days ago, and currently I'm exploring it, doing some score attacks, and maybe joining speedrun side of this game. So far I've noticed you get more points if you go on 2 wheels, the thing is, I don't know how to do that on the GC, or if it's possible at all!

It should be aproximately -3.8s on WiiVC like on all my previous PB's and AndrewG's run.

The rules are explicit, the timer is started when the play button is pressed, not when you press replay. The 1st 3 submissions do this...
I was in doubt, which score trigger which ending, and then I found this amazing guide for the achievements :D
For some reason I'm not getting any, but I'll try playing the game on another computer and see if it works.
Hello guys. Today I played this game with my cousin, and since it's a game I love and I've played a lot in my childhood I was thinking on speedruning it. The problem is that when we reach the pool of rain level and try to climb the vine in order to go to the red key screen it appears to be a rock and wont let you change the screen, so you have to reset the emulator and then you can proceed. The thing is, is there any way to get through that playing on emulator without reset? Because that would consume a few seconds D:
