Thanks for helping me test that lol. Awesome, that resolves this Does it work in game-specific forums as well?
Still would be nice to have a reply functionality Maybe an extra icon next to the link and the heart that would simply prepend the user's name to your next post. Could also have text saying "Replying to @YUMmy_Bacon5:" where the words "Replying to" perform a jump to the message you are replying to instead of creating a new tab.
@YUMmy_Bacon5 does this notify you?
Just checking to see if that creates a notification. And if it doesn't, I think that would be a nice feature
Automated IL Population - Revisiting a request from 2017
The addition of a unique page to add single levels at a time might mess with a lot of mods. As a test, try adding 100 levels to a new game and see the amount of time it takes.
Adding 100 levels should be as easy as writing a template name and selecting a number of levels to create, or uploading a .CSV or something. Running an automated level creation should add to the array of levels already existing.
Example:
Variables: Opening Street, 10
Creates: Opening Street - 1, Opening Street -2, ..., Opening Street - 10
Example 2:
Variables: Level, 100
Creates: Level - 1, Level - 2, ... Level - 100
Oh damn, looks like I can delete it! That resolves a three year old ticket! https://www.speedrun.com/posts/fvctd
Thanks ELO :))))
Wanted to see if y'all added the ability to delete your own forum posts yet: https://www.speedrun.com/posts/ka0yx
1 year ago I posted about TAS leaderboards. I still think it's a cool idea.
I currently think the best implementation would be to have a separate TAS tab for games that have an active TAS community. There would be a leaderboard that works pretty much the same as the regular leaderboard, but it would have its own rules and categories. Might also add a separate TAS Stats tab for WR history.
Many hyperlinks in the support section are broken, example: https://www.speedrun.com/support/learn/how-to-start-speedrunning
I would run through all the hyperlinks in the support section and make sure each one leads to a valid page.
I'd also not create a new tab for each link and instead just do routing within the same tab for a cleaner experience.
That thread is going to die eventually and this one will survive (maybe) :))
I also sent it directly to them in the support hub so no worries
If the video is not available, I'd message the user about it and reject it for the time being.
I see what you're saying that it's technically valid because it was verified then, but if the video doesn't exist now, to me, the run doesn't exist. Just my opinion :))
This run should be rejected until the user provides a working video of the run: https://www.speedrun.com/string_theory/runs/z5oovwjy
The new notifications tab shows only the most recent five notifications. It's hard to know whether you have more than five notifications, so you end up clicking on the "view all notifications" to get that information.
It would be better for the user to have some sort of knowledge of how many notifications are unread (such as showing the number of unread notifications in the tab).
Even better would be to make the list scrollable so no extra click has to be made. Load the recent five, and if they reach the bottom of that section, load another five, and so on. Otherwise, I'd rather just be taken to the main notifications page so I don't miss anything.
I really like this text editor. Also super happy with the speed of the site in general using TypeScript (Goodbye PHP!)
Trying to drag and drop an image (which was one of my suggestions, thanks for implementing it!) is not working exactly. I get this on Chrome:

My first run was rejected with the reason being: "kek"
I will never get over it lol
