just to check if say for example in the future I'm recording a run and an update comes out as I'm part way through a recording would that mean a reset and start on the new version as soon as it finishes installing

i only ask cause i didn't know this was a rule and didn't see it in the run rules

is that for all run types

or just certain run types

I would like to clarify about using older versions of the update and if they are valid

can you only submit using the current patch as I see runs being submitted fine for patches like 1.04 being fine to submit even if that's not the current version.

is holding off doing an update (1.09 to 1.11) so you can do a run on the version you have been practicing instead of throwing all that out the window and starting again against the rules

if it is against the rules is it something that is only for console players and pc can submit for any version at any time

thank you. I wanted to know as I was trying to find a way to backdate the version. wanted to check if going to the disk version would work before I tryed buying a copy but if it won't work for runs I will stick with the current version till I can find a way to backdate

quick question does anyone know what version the disk version of the game runs on for console

so a couple of quick questions in a skipless run

1. does going straight to get the photo pass count as a skip instead of going to Freddy's door to be told to get a photo pass.

2. does collecting the Mr hippo magnet before going to upgrade the machine count as a skip?

i think these might be skips but want to be sure before i try to do a skipless run as don't want to do something the would void the run

yes its from the current run I show myself deleting all prior saves at beginning of each attempt

if you softlock and have to reload from last save will that invalidate an any% run?

after a bit more testing some of the any% strats are still possible some are a little trickier to pull off and some seem to require a few more steps. and some deloads seem to not work on ps4 anymore but that might just be me getting unlucky

with the release of the newest update which has changed some things including the hitbox of certain areas in the map and added a mini loading screen for entering an area if it hasn't fully loaded in yet along with probably a few other things that are yet to be discovered does this mean this will get a new category like 1.05 did as some of the methods used for things such any% are no longer possible in the way they were pre update and with ps4 not allowing you to downgrade your version any attempts to try to compete with runs set on early patch would be restricted
