A new category has joined the ranks of The Sims 3 Boards. Introducing Max All Skills.

As the title of the category suggests, you have to max all the skills available in the game. The timer ends once you master the last skill you need.

Attention All Runners,

Following the Poll that was published over a month ago, regarding the rules of all categories (both on the main board and on the misc board).

After retrieving feedback and doing an hour of re-writing, the new rules are now in effect and can be read on https://pastebin.com/6ycJBbB1

This is the new generalized rule set for all categories, each category will still have its own specific rules.

The rules for each category will be listed as Category specific rules. Therefore when you click "View Rules", it will appear as in this screenshot: https://wolfstorm.s-ul.eu/OFyNbOpE

All runs currently on the leaderboard will be retimed to match these new rules.

Hey guys,

I just had a brainwave regarding the categories All Careers and All Goals.

As you know, WR for All Careers is done with what I am calling Level Returns (henceforth known as LR) - To define what I mean, I go through a career track then after completing it, move back to a house. This is called Level Returning, where you go back to complete "a goal/common set of objectives"

In All Goals, I also plan to be using the same method. However, it struck me that some people might not wish to do Level Returns and therefore to complete one house first, before moving to the next - therefore No Level Returns (NLR) comes into play.

Obviously between timing differences and route differences would be enough for it to have All Careers NLR and All Goals NLR to be their own category. What I am proposing is very similar to what another game within the community has, Have it so there is a variable for Level Returns and for No Level Returns for both of those categories.

I know that this suggestion might be out of the blue given the number of runners in this game, but suffice to say, that if this community grows, that this question will probably need to be dealt with down the line.

I hope that what I said has made sense has well. Obviously if anyone has any questions, either reply here or tag me in the community Discord :)

Hi there everyone, I have taken the liberty of sorting through all the careers in Bust Out and highlighted what is required skill wise for each career. The result of my findings can be found below:

• Current BustOut% Frontline Career, Jock (Requires 6 FRE, 4 CO, 2 ME, 10 BDY and 5 CHAR for final promotion) = 27SPs
• Movie Star (Requires 10 FRE, 8 CREATE, 4 BDY and 10 CHAR for Final Promotion) = 32 SPs
• Gangster (Requires 8 FRE, 5 ME, 10 CREATE, 7 BDY and 4 CHAR for Final Promotion) = 34 SPs
• Mad Scientist (Requires 6 FRE, 2 CO, 10 ME, 5 CREATE, 8 LOG and 5 CHAR for Final Promotion) = 36SPs
• Fashion Victim (Requires 9 FRE, 4 CO, 10 CREATE, 8 BDY and 5 CHAR for Final Promotion) = 36 SPs
• Counter Culture (Requires 8 FRE, 10 CO, 3 ME, 4 CREATE, 5 BDY and 8 CHAR for Final Promotion) = 38 SPs
• Paramilitary (Requires 6 FRE, 8 ME, 10 BDY, 10 LOG and 4 CHAR for Final Promotion) = 38SPs [/quote]

it might explain to people why certian careers arent viable at all for BustOut% but I leave that up to people to work out for themselves :)

Attention Speedrunners,

MelonSlice and myself have been discussing the rules regarding this category (Both One Sim and Two Sims). The rules have now been changed to reflect those discussions.

Previously: The timer would end when the baby is born, Now: The timer (to accomodate the fact that people can choose to go to hospital or stay at home to have their baby) will now end when you get the prompt to name your baby.
