Far Cry 5 does actually have a checklist in a way. If you hover your marker over each region and fully zoom out you’ll find it has the following list:

• Missions completed
• Specialists recruited
• Cult properties/silos/shrines destroyed
• Outposts liberated

If all regions show that everything is complete then you’ve completed the run! You may want to check the rules of the run which gives you a run down of how to complete it!

@TheDefnOfInsanity Doing a speedrun on a certain difficulty does not apply to the rules unless the mods make a seperate category for that difficulty. (E.g. Far Cry 5 speedrunning has a new game+ run which can only be played on the infamous difficulty). As for “special weapons” and “DLC items” they are strictly prohibited if the rules say they cannot be present or used throughout the run. But as the rules do not state it’s prohibited I assume you can, but be sure to check with a mod just in case. Hope my response helps 👍🏻

I agree! That’s why I decided to remove myself as mod for a few games. But these games weren’t popular anyway. There was only one run on them which was submitted months, even years ago. But now I’ve learnt my lesson and yet again I apologise. I made this post because I wanted to make a change and make sure I don’t throw ppl off by being mod for games I never speedrun. I am now making a change to how I approach mod. :)

Ok I do admit what I have done was wrong and I am starting to change. I am pretty new to this site and I am still learning the rules. I rlly loved to mod games so I would ask a few ppl if they needed help with it. But after seeing how bad it is I have decided to turn things around and I removed myself from the few games I mod that I didn’t have a run for. And I have now decided not to ask ppl for mod to games unless i do a speedrun on it and have knowledge of the game. I would also like to apologise for this, I did not realise that I was mod farming and i never intended on mod farming. I have decided to change my ways in how I approach mod for games! I hope we can all move on from this and have a good time on this site!

Hi Bando, I saw your post that you needed people to help you with mod. I myself am I big fan of thehunter call of the wild. I have a YouTube channel called NikZGameZ where I do gameplay videos on COTW and hunting simulator 2. I currently moderate 2 games one of them being hunting simulator 2 so I have some experience on moderating. I believe we can work together as a team. And I would love for you to help me moderate hunting simulator 2 and would love to see you do some speedruns on it! I also love moderating and helping ppl moderate so I would love this moderation position for thehunter call of the wild! Let me know what you think! Cant wait to hear back from you! 🙂

So I recently got the ps5 and I’ve been wanting to do speedruns on many games. Problem is, a lot of the games I want to speedrun say only available on PS4 not ps5 (Far Cry series mainly). I can play those games on ps5 but I just wanted to know would it be considered cheating if I did a speedrun on ps5 and submitted it as played on PS4? I’ve done all my speedruns on PS4, but I want to start doing them on ps5. I’m pretty sure I should be all good since these games are available for purchase and are playable on ps5, but if the game on speedrun.com says ps4 but not ps5 as an available platform, I don’t know if it’s considered cheating.
